Overview
The Miami Dade College, North Campus and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Hispanic Serving Institutions National Program cordially invite you to participate in the Federal Grants Conference on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST). The conference will also be webcasted live to institutions and organizations nation-wide.
Purpose
The purpose of the conference is to inform representatives from Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) and Community-Based Organizations (CBO) about funding opportunities available in the Federal Government.
The conference is designed for an audience of researchers, grant writers, educators and administrators.
The conference theme "Partners for Success" will explore how government, academia, and nonprofit organizations can work as partners to overcome challenges and achieve success.

The conference is free and open only to representatives from HSIs and CBOs. Registration is required and space is limited.
